Phantom Policman, Broughton Astley

This phantom figure of a Victorian policeman was seen standing outside the Bulls Head public house by a man walking home in the early hours of the morning.

The policeman’s presence so strong that the witness could feel his energy as he continued to along the road. Further along, whilst pondering what he had just seen the witness reported that he turned to take another look at the phantom officer, but it had vanished into the night…

Loves a good ghost story, especially whilst sat in front of an open log fire on a cold and dark winters night.

I once seen the same phantom ghost standing opposite the Bulls head on an early morning start back in the 90’s, maybe 96 or 97. I’ll never forget him, well built chap wearing a police uniform. There was another chap walking a dog from the church direction, his dog ran the other way. Very scary bloke, he never lost his stare towards Cosby.
