At the turn of the Century the Queens Head pub was run by a Landlord named Gutsell.

When he died the locals brought his coffin into the pub for a wake, the dead Landlord must have enjoyed the party so much that his spirit stayed in the bar. He has been seen sitting by the fireplace chewing a piece of straw.

Loves a good ghost story, especially whilst sat in front of an open log fire on a cold and dark winters night.
